Organized on April 1, 1948, we are one of 5 seperate Volunteer Fire Companies located on Long Beach Island, which is an 18 mile stretch of a barrier island in Ocean County, New Jersey. We provide fire protection for the Borough of Surf City and the North Beach section of Long Beach Township from Tract 1001 to Roxie Ave. We provide Emergency Medical Services for the Borough of Surf City. We also provide mutual aid to other fire companies and Emergency Medical Squads upon request. We are the only Company on Long Beach Island to have a full extrication unit and mobile cascade services. We operate with 2 Class A Engines, 1 Rescue, 2 Basic Life Support Ambulances, a Chief's Command Vehicle, and 1 Antique Reserve Engine. We are the only Volunteer Fire Company in Ocean County to provide Fire and Emergency Medical Services, which began in 1990.
We are a 100% All Volunteer Organization, and never charge for our services!
