The Surf City Fire Company is in need of donated cars, pick up trucks, or vans, for rescue training purposes. How it works: You donate your unwanted vehicle (running or not) by giving the company the title, we practice using our hydraulic extrication tools on the vehicle, and then we have a local junkyard haul whats left away. By doing this we can practice the skills needed to save your life in the event of a car accident. Please contact Asst. The Surf City Volunteer Fire Company & E.M.S. is would like to announce that we responded to 552 emergency calls in 2010, making it for our busiest year on record! Thank you to our members & community for your continued support!

The Surf City Volunteer Fire Co. is proud to announce the arrival of our brand new hydraulic Rescue Extrication tools! Thank you to our supporters for your donations and to our Women's Auxilary for their donation to make this greatly needed purchase a reality!

Volunteer Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians are especially needed right now. We ask any willing and capable person of good moral character, that lives or works in Surf City or North Beach, to please be take that extra step to give back to your community by volunteering with us. The Surf City Volunteer Fire & E.M.S. would like to invite everyone to the many fundraising events being held this summer, incuding our First Annual Summer Block Party on August 6th from 3 to 8pm, including live music by local rock band Collateral Jammage, food & draft beer!
